TIPS FOR SAVING TIME IN THE KITCHEN

1.Portions out SNACKS.

Preparing and removing snacks from the fridge in advance is a good idea. Cut up cheese cubes, make trail mix and cut carrot and celery sticks into sticks for quick access.

2.Set the table beforehand.

Do not put everything away if your dishwasher is running every day. Put away only the tableware, dishes and cutlery needed for that night’s dinner. Stack them on the table so they are out of the way until dinner time.

3.REMOVE TOMORROW'S POTS AND UTENSILS.

Pull out the items you need for tomorrow’s dinner after cleaning up and stack them on a shelf or counter.

4.A CLEAN, ORGANIZED WORK AREA IS ESSENTIAL.

Keeping your cutting board close to the oven, fridge, and stove creates a ‘golden triangle’ of convenience.
